A few weeks ago the garden was a sorry sight the only thing flowering were some ever resilient Snowdrops...
So I planted a pot of cheerful polyanthus by the front door and waited...
Mother Nature soon did what she does best, and provided me with some welcome colour in the form of these crocuses...
The first of the daffodils...
And my absolute all time favourite, these gorgeous hellebores; I planted these when we arrived 3 years ago and they come back better every year, I love, love, love them!
This week I am linking to Five on Friday
I think I've finally decided my favourite spring flowers are the white crocuses - but I'll change my mind next year, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much for the lovely pictures of Spring blooming in your garden. We are still thigh-deep in snow pack! Dreaming of seeing just a bit of green...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for joining in and sharing your beautiful flowers!! They are stunners, especially some of those amazing hellebores!! Spring flowers really are the best and most cheery thing I always think! I would be so grateful if you could please add a link in to my blog and say that you are linking with five on Friday - I see that you have the badge in your sidebar already, thank you for that! I hope that you have a great weekend!! xx
ReplyDeleteyour flowers are beautiful........
ReplyDeleteMy goodness - such beautiful varieties of hellebores!
ReplyDeleteSo unfair that your spring is so far along. We just took a pic of me in front of the piles of snow on the side of our driveway. The piles are higher than my waist! 52" of snow this year. Hopefully no more!!! Thanks for the breath of spring. I need it!
ReplyDeleteWonderful spring shots.
ReplyDeleteThose double hellebores are great, mine are all singles and have a charm all of their own, but I think I shall have to hunt out a double one now I've seen yours!
