Just to prove I do actually finish the projects I start :) I thought I would post some of my finished quilts here. This is 'Celine' I bought it as a kit at a Dutch quilt show from
Quilt it, something I never normally do, but I loved the combination of cross-stitch, lace and quilting and the fabrics! I changed the border from the original piano key style to this plain one so I could do some more hand quilting. Machine pieced, hand quilted, a lot of the fabrics are by French General.
BEAUTIFUL Elaine truly beautiful. I think we share the same taste is many things.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I love all the details on the quilt. And the colors! Yum!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt Elaine - the cross-stitch is lovely - I put a blackbrd designs cross-stitch in the centre of a quilt - it really gave it the wow factor. I love the colours you used - just feels so good to finish a project!

ReplyDeleteIt is so beautiful. I made my Celine ( I call it Potpourri quilt) 2 years ago with darker reds and still enjoying it so much. Love making the quilt in 6 weeks, all by hand !!
