2013 Finished Projects

Looking back through my blog posts for 2013 I am disappointed that I managed to finish very few projects - I did however start quite a few!  I have decided not to make any New Year Resolutions as I never stick to them, but rather than sign up for all the new SAL's that are starting, I think I will continue to work on some of my ongoing quilting projects and see if I can do better in 2014!

Here is my very small 2013 finished list...

A comfort quilt for my sister to use during chemotherapy - machine pieced and quilted

A sketchbook cover in Silk Shading

A lavender filled heart in Silk Ribbon Embroidery

A little needlebook

Crazy Quilt Wedding Sampler, lots of silk ribbon, buttons and lace

Walter Crane inspired swan embroidery in Silk Shading and Goldwork

  4. Such beautiful finishes! I definitely know what you are saying -- I feel like I have too many started and unfinished projects from 2013 as well. So weird. I think you did great in 2013 though!

  5. I think that's a perfectly respectable stitching finish list for the year, Elaine! You've created some lovely pieces. My favourite is the heart with the ribbon work.=)
