My Boxes

May Britt over at AbyQuilt has a wonderful post on the contents of her WIP boxes, her quilting philosophy is the same same as mine - to have fun!
I mentioned in my previous post that I had some projects in hibernation. I often stop working on a project if I am no longer happy with the way it is going, with my colour choices or if I am simply bored with it! I put everything in a box for a few weeks/months and then decide what to do with it, finish it, donate it, or re-use the fabrics for something else.
So without further ado, here are the contents of my boxes!

A Gathering of Angels, I started this wallhanging several years ago, I really like the design and the fabrics I chose. I am not really sure why it is hibernating!

Remember When, I started this as a SAL with a friend when I lived in Holland, I would like to work on this again this year.

Chester County Criswell Quilt, I have appliqued 4 blocks, I need to decide how many I want to make.

Life is Beautiful, I designed a centre block and have prepped some of the smaller blocks ready to stitch, I am not sure I really like my choice of fabrics.

Morell Quilt I started this as a BOM and have completed 16 blocks.

Phebe, I have started appliqueing the centre block

This year I hope to at least start working on these again!

  4. I really hope your Morrell quilt gets to come out of its box! I am also making this quilt and know what a long haul it can be. Hopefully we can encourage each other :)
