Chester County Criswell Quilt

Sharon over at Two Bits Patches is reproducing the patterns from the fabulous Chester County Criswell Quilt which was made for the marriage of Mary McClellan Criswell to Jesse Jackson Smith on the 17th of November 1852. There is a dedicated blog for this project HERE

I have completed the first four blocks.

  2. Oh my gosh! What pretty blocks. I went and read up about the quilt, since I grew up just over the Delaware state line from Chester County. Lovely! I can't wait to see more.
